Hello folks or should I say Ciao Gente (Hello People in Italian)! Dinner tonight was super quick easy and pretty much a classic, Spaghetti and a Three Cheese Sauce. Ingredients like these are usually a staple in homes. Spaghetti and sauce is also a quick tasty fulfilling meal. This classic is a meal made in twenty including preparation.
Marinara Tomato Sauce (We used Prego Italian Sauce but buy what works for you!)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Land O Lakes Butter with Canola Oil, 24 oz.
Spaghetti and a Three Cheese Italian Sauce
Bring a large pot of water to boil add 1 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and pasta. Boil for 10 - 14 minutes.
On another burner place the olive oil and garlic in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Swirl the pan to coat the garlic with oil and heat until garlic sizzles but doesn't brown, about 30 seconds. Add the Italian sauce, salt, black pepper, and 2 tbsp of butter and stir to combine. Cook for at least 15 minutes but no more than 20. Remove from heat and set aside.
Meanwhile, drain the pasta and transfer it to the saucepan. Toss together while returning back to heat, stirring to allow sauce to simmer down into spaghetti.
For each serving, spoon on a little extra sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, and freshly ground black pepper on top of the pasta.
